Had to cancel flight to LA due to fires. Was told we had a credit of $447 plus $75 cancellation fee.

Tried rebooking for February and was told it would cost and additional $480. They were blaming the airlines for charging a rebooking fee of more than $200 each.

I can book a return flight for cheaper. This is THEFT.

Same thing happened to me. I had to change my flights and they told me my best option was to cancel for the fee and then rebook them.

Never once told me there would be a rebooking fee. So I canceled and when I tried to rebook I was told there were no flights to book, asked to speak to a manager and they told me there were flights but it would cost me $250 rebooking fee on top of the flight. When I told them I wasn’t paying that because no one told me that would happened when I canceled, they hung up on me. I’ve tried talking to many others and I keep being told the same thing, the rebooking fee is xxx and flights are more then my supposed credit.

It would be cheaper for me to just go buy new tickets and cut my losses with what flight hub took from me... and my credit card company won’t dispute it.
